Primarily responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of all flooring areas within the facility. In addition to floor care, performs a wide range of housekeeping tasks and projects, including the cleaning of patient rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, offices, and clinical areas. Operation of specified small equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, upholstery shampooers, extractors, and others, is required. Where patient/family contact is involved, demonstrates knowledge, skills and behavior, appropriate to the age of the patient population served. This could range from neonate through geriatric.

This position is eligible for a $1000 sign on bonus, with $500 paid after 90 days and $500 paid after 1 year of employment.

• High school graduate or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate with others.
• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Valid Kentucky Driver's License required (for those hired after May 2011).
