Job/Internship Description

  • Primary Responsibilities:
    * Lead data collection and analysis for a plant study at the Oakdale manufacturing site.
    * Support other plant studies focusing on continuous improvement and yield improvements.
    * Research, evaluate, recommend, and document solutions to operational and equipment issues
    * Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering to provide sustainable solutions to daily issues
    * Read and understand engineering and equipment documentation
    * Exposure and training on manufacturing equipment including:
    o Optical Sorters
    o Steam Peelers
    o Canning equipment
    * Working with a variety of functions at the manufacturing site including:
    o Agriculture Operations
    o Finance
    o Quality
    o Sanitation
    o Continuous Improvement
    * Follow all employee safety and food safety policies and practices
    * Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
