The Senior Process Analyst leads process documentation and analysis activities with the objective of process improvement. Assigned to corporate initiatives, cross-functional projects, and value streams, their responsibilities include working with key stakeholders to identify process needs, document current and future state processes, influencing and guiding business leaders to achieve objectives with process-centric planning, coordinating and driving process deployment projects, as well as fostering process management excellence.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Process Architect for assigned value stream by:
    • Partner with value stream owner(s) to ensure value stream is aligned to business strategy
    • Collaborating with value stream owner(s) to ensure the end-to-end value stream is documented appropriately, processes are at least a Level 3, and all process management documents are completed
    • Collaborating with other value stream process architects when there are touch points between value streams
    • Work with the process owner(s) to ensure the value stream is properly and consistently measured
    • Foster process maturity within all levels of the value stream
    • Partnering with the value stream's process analyst including mentoring/coaching, delegation, etc.
  • Process design execution:
    • Lead interviews with process design team to understand exactly how the process currently works
    • Diagnose gaps, pain points, process issues, improvement opportunities, and perform root cause analysis (when needed)
    • Plan and lead process improvement activities as needed
  • Process design leadership:
    • Enable the business to identify process improvements and how to take action
    • Present recommendations on process improvement opportunities to the process owner(s) and relevant stakeholders
    • Assist with process improvement implementation as needed
  • Change management:
    • Identify and plan change management needs for the value stream / project
    • Engage leadership and stakeholders to obtain support and buy-in for changes
    • Drive change management plan as neede
  • Support the PMO with change management as needed

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet
  • Working knowledge: IBM Blueworks or another process design application
  • Advanced knowledge in:
    • BPMN methodology, governance, frameworks, and best practices
    • Executive level communications and proven expertise in cross-functional management and leading through influence
    • Effective personal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others, drive new capabilities, and bring new ways of thinking into the organization
    • Effective listening and communication skills across mid-level management and business teams
    • Analytical and problem solving skills
    • Ability to research different approaches to produce deliverables
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity
    • Ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables
  • Basic knowledge in project management and organization and understanding business acumen
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in similar position

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (or ability to learn)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or ability to learn)
