Proposal Graphic Designer

Key Role:

Work as a member of the team that supports the capture and proposal efforts for Booz Allen's Federal Health account. Work under tight deadlines and leverage a solid understanding of government contracting processes. Collaborate with proposal teams to develop visually appealing graphics, diagrams, and layouts for proposals, presentations, and marketing materials. Create custom graphics, charts, and infographics that effectively communicate complex information and key messages. Develop graphics utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint, or to transfer to, for capture and proposal teams to collaborate. Design and format proposal graphics according to government agency guidelines and requirements and adhere to company branding and style guide. Ensure adherence to version control, file naming, and file maintenance procedures. Demonstrate an understanding and execution of typography and design principles. Communicate project status formally and informally. Share ideas with internal team on best practices around visual designs, usability, and supporting technologies. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet proposal deadlines. Maintain a library of design assets and templates for use in future proposals. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and proposal development.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in graphic design, including federal proposals and presentations

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Word, and Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator

  • Knowledge of government contracting processes, including RFP requirements and evaluation criteria

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Ability to provide a portfolio showcasing federal proposal design and graphic design projects

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communications

  • Possession of excellent communication and collaboration skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
