JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Opportunity

As our Field Marketing Manager, Northeast & Ohio Valley, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing field and channel marketing programs to generate new business, drive cross sell/upsell opportunities, increase brand awareness and improve client retention in the US East region. This position will report to the Director, Americas Field Marketing East and act as the local marketing business partner working closely with sales teams, HQ marketing, key partners and agency/suppliers. You should enjoy being the guide in your field and be keen to jointly build and implement the field marketing plan.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves working with regional sales, building B2B demand generation programs and is looking to make the next move in their IT Marketing career. We're looking for a self-starter who enjoys working across a multifaceted work environment and who is flexible, fun and empathic.

What you'll do...

  • Complete regional marketing plans against the agreed GTM to increase demand generation and improve Commvault brand awareness

  • Build scalable demand generation activities using the most effective channels, including email, events, webinars, digital/online to drive prospects into and through the sales funnel

  • Work with local sales, SEs, professional services, channel sales and other functional areas to ensure marketing plans help exceed sales goals and meet overall marketing metrics

  • Work with global and corporate marketing colleagues to incorporate global campaigns in field programs to reduce costs and drive economies of scale whilst actively sharing local programs, successes, and ideas with your peers in the Americas and beyond

  • Use Salesforce.com, Power BI, Marketo and other tools to measure value, course correct and present results to your business and marketing collaborators

  • Support all company initiatives, give actionable feedback, share standard methodologies and serve as advocate and marketing information source for your markets

Who you are...

  • 5+ years in a B2B Marketing function with demand generation experience - Data Management and/or SaaS experience a plus

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience of both marketing to end customers and with channel partners

  • Self-starter with a positive can-do attitude, ability to lead initiatives and rally people behind a common goal

  • Outstanding teammate with ability to build good working relationships with all levels of colleagues

  • Strong experience in digital and social media is an advantage

  • Good social skills to optimally deliver plans to collaborators & drive alignment

  • Ability to travel

Thank you for your interest in Commvault. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, and within the below base salary range:

$85,000 - $212,800
