Pr. Associate, Career Transition Support Center

The Career Transition Support Center Team is looking for a customer-focused and collaborative Principal Associate with prior consulting experience to support HR and line of business leaders in preparing for restructuring events and providing process/project management support for

operational activities in the team.

This role encompasses a variety of program, process, and project management-type responsibilities, including providing consulting services to Human Resources and line of business leaders on how to plan for reduction in force events and support associates impacted by restructuring activities, managing the logistics associated with reduction in force events, including third-party management, and ensuring accurate data management and well-managed process execution.

The ideal candidate will bring a high degree of Humanity, Simplicity, and Ingenuity to their work and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to and influence at all levels. They will have experience in project management and/or process management, and will be a skilled problem-solver and thought partner who is adept at leveraging Excel for data management and analysis purposes, is able to write Slides for management reporting and is compassionate, customer and results-focused, detail-oriented, and a team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Reduction In Force(RIF) Consultant

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR Business Partners regarding Career Transition and Support Center (CTSC) processes and career transition resources for associates for the assigned RIF events

  • Assist HR Business Partners and business leaders with reduction in force planning and associate support initiatives

  • Manage all CTSC logistics and operational responsibilities associated with assigned events

  • Participate in leader preparation activities and associate notification support

  • Provide recommendations on associate support programs and engage third-party supplier to provide resources

  • Ensure accurate data management and well-managed processes

  • Provide status updates and metrics to key stakeholders

  • Operational Support

    • Manage the day to day relationship with our Career Transition and Outplacement third party provider

    • Prepare and facilitate team's monthly business reports

    • Support well-managed practices in the team including but not limited to supporting activities related to documentation and reporting such as MBR, Operational Metrics, maintaining oversight of projects roadmap in the team etc.

    • Create and distribute a mix of CTSC Operations Reports

  • Manage special projects, as needed:

  • Proactively assess the need for process and/or program improvements and make recommendations to leadership

  • Manage enhancement projects within team and cross-functionally

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in Project or Process Management

  • At least 2 years of experience in Consulting

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Project or Process Management

  • 3+ years of experience in Program Management

  • 3+ years of experience in Strategic Consulting

  • Ability to create effective presentations

  • Proven track record of effective and autonomous prioritization and multitasking

  • Outstanding attention to detail

  • Advanced creative problem-solving skills

  • Strong facilitation and public speaking skills

  • Clear communication and ability to influence effectively across all levels

  • Customer and results-focused

  • Proficiency in Google suite
