What We Need

Element Fleet Management is seeking a Sr. Advisor, Content Writer (Marketing) to join our Marketing team. This position is key for ideating and executing on content development plans with our communications, operations, and commercial teams. We are looking for a star with excellent business-to-business writing and communications skills, ready to make an impact on the culture, brand, and growth of a new industry leader in a rapidly changing environment.

As the Sr. Advisor, Content Writer (Marketing), you will work with the Director of Corporate Marketing and content marketing lead to plan and calendar marketing and communications in support of our products, services and experiences that drive great client experiences. The Content Marketing Manager sr. advisor, content writer is a key member of the Element Fleet Management Communications team, focused on leading and managing the content strategy and alignment to be featured across multiple media channels for prospects, our client and driver audiences.

A Day in the Life

  • Create Write industry thought leadership leading content for our clients and our prospects

  • For our clients, take complex information about our products and services and create communications that are easy to engage with

  • For our prospects, find creative ways to spark their interest with Element and encourage them to engage them with our company, products, and services

  • Write and create compelling, buyer focused content that moves our audiences down the funnel

  • Active player in development of annual corporate marketing strategic plans

  • Identify and source content opportunities from across the business

  • Act as a trusted advisor in leading the writing and editing content to meet business needs and strategies, as well as obtain cross-functional alignment

  • Integrate information from multiple sources to enable efficient process, analysis of content and streamlined execution in producing content that converts

  • Partner with campaign strategist, sales, and product marketers to transform insights into breakthrough easy to understand content

  • Prioritize multiple complex initiatives, develop work back schedules, agency briefings-feedback, track detail/status from SMEs for effective on-time GTM and brand-compliant execution

  • Maintain editorial calendars and develop and manage workflows to meet editorial and campaign deadlines

  • Working with the cross-functional team to deliver content through a variety of channels and mediums including

  • Newsletters, Infographics, videos, Podcasts, events, Webinars, social posts, e-books, guides and blogs

  • Working with our web site team to develop copy and uploading content when required

  • Help deploy communications using email and marketing automation tools (i.e., Pardot and Polite Mail), and web content management systems (i.e., Joomla, Hippo, Magnolia).

Requirements

  • Min. Education required: Bachelor's Degree

  • Min. Experience required:4-6 years in communications, content development, marketing, and management

  • Experience in B2B industry required

  • Strong verbal, writing, editing skills

  • Collaboration and a team-player skills

  • Data driven decision making and experience writing with SEO goals

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as external parties (i.e., Creative and media agencies)

  • Influencing skills

  • Agility and a 'can-do' mind-set are critical to be successful in this role
