Job Description
Graphic Designer Little Rock, Arkansas
Do you love creating visuals that tell a story? Garver is hiring a Graphic Designer to specifically support the marketing efforts of the Field Services Team. This role will work alongside construction engineering and surveying project managers and our in-house creative communications team in a fun, collaborative environment to build marketing materials and proposals that best tell the Garver story.
This role calls for attention to detail, the ability to apply Garver brand standards in a fresh, creative way, and a knack for encouraging engineers outside of their comfort zones. The ideal candidate is someone willing to help effectively visually communicate value and technical information to a diverse audience while working collaboratively to support overarching Garver communications goals.
Under the direction of the Field Services and Communications Teams, core responsibilities in this role will be:
  • Develop themed graphics, templates, and layouts for print collateral such as proposals, reports, brochures, and presentations that visually tell a story customized to each deliverable.
  • Update and provide guidance on long-form document design through collaboration with proposal development staff.
  • Develop and maintain a library of InDesign and PPT templates for marketing and communications staff use.
  • Support overarching Garver Communications graphic design needs.
To be considered, candidates are requested to provide examples of your design work including print materials, presentations, and anything additional you would like to share with the review team.
What is unique about this position?
  • If you have a passion for telling complex stories through compelling visuals, a competitive streak, and a creative side - this could be the perfect fit for you.
  • AEC marketing experience is not necessary. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working candidate to fill this position.
  • Unlike a marketing agency, we work with our internal customers (our Project and Client Service Managers) day-in and day-out. Therefore, each new project is an opportunity to build on previous experiences and hone your craft.
  • We operate as a team, leaning on the strengths of each other to develop strong proposals, presentations, and marketing deliverables for our technical teams.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated graphic design skills
  • Advanced user of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign preferred)
  • 2+ years of related experience
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree (Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field)
