Schedule Weekly Hours:

As a Standardized Patient, you will help Gundersen staff prepare for various patient outcomes. This position is crucial to help our medical teams determine best practices to deliver love + medicine!

What you will do:

  • Work in a casual call position, hours may be picked up based on your availability

  • Hours are between 7:00am and 5:00pm

  • No weekends or holidays!

Job Description:

A Standardized Patient (SP) is a person who has been coached to accurately and consistently recreate the history, personality, physical findings, and emotional structure and response pattern of an actual patient at a particular point in time.

Major Responsibilities

1. Work in a professional manner when interacting with learners, faculty, supervisors and peers.

2. Simulate all aspects of the scenario, including history of current problem, affect/behavior and physical findings in a standardized, accurate, and reliable manner.

3. Inform the program of changes to contact information such as name, telephone and address.

4. Accept ongoing feedback from faculty, trainers and other simulation staff to incorporate in to scenario.

5. Provide feedback on learns in a constructive manner

6. Other duties as assigned
