The Marketing Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and interpreting business information and mold it into actionable decisions and leveraged for process improvements. This role works closely with the marketing team to help them understand and articulate their goals, objectives, and solutions. Responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, and verifying requirements and ensuring that they are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, and verifiable. The Marketing Business Analyst will report to the Director of Marketing Technology.

What you'll be doing

    Produce and maintain detailed, clear, accurate and accessible documentation of business requirements, system configurations, and technical specifications.
  • Evaluate existing marketing technology workflows and processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to streamline operations and enhance marketing performance.
  • Troubleshoots efforts for potential system and process issues.
  • Identifies and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions.
  • Supports monitoring and remediation of potential customer-impacting issues.

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, mathematics, statistics, finance, accounting, or economics majors, and/or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 3+ years experience in business requirements analysis with specific experience in data searching. Experience should include flow modeling, Stakeholder knowledge extraction and sharing. Experience in SQL Queries and process flow is preferred.
  • Knowledge in creation of software products, preferably in marketing technology (MarTech).
  • Formal writing experience is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of agile and SAFE is also required.
  • Proven ability to advance an operational unit's strategic direction through identification of risk/opportunity and contributing to the corresponding mitigation/solution.
  • Self-direct in the identification of team, system, and project implications.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a critical eye for detail.
  • A strong customer service orientation is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to the changing demands of business is a must.

Salary Range
$33.65 To $50.24 / hour

The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
