Location- Cape Coral, FL
Duration - 6 months assignment
Shift Timings
- Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa 6AM - 3PM
Pay rate start from $17/hr


Job Description:
The Patient Services Representative I serves as the face of the company to patients, assisting them with their healthcare needs and decisions. They are responsible for drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for lab testing while adhering to established practices and procedures. The PSR I interacts directly with patients, fostering an atmosphere of trust and confidence by explaining procedures clearly and drawing blood specimens skillfully, safely, and accurately. Additionally, they demonstrate leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, sensitivity to confidentiality, and accuracy in patient information. Successful applicants may be assigned to work in a doctor's office, a patient service center, or other locations as dictated by business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment.
  • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties confidently, following established practices and procedures.
  • Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal onsite supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
  • Flexibility and availability based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
  • Commitment to all policies and procedures, including company dress code, Employee Health Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Superior customer focus with the ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors, and patients.
  • Ability to adapt to change and knowledge of the company's business.
  • Training locations may vary based on trainer availability, up to 3 hours away.
Required Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training, such as medical assistant or paramedic training, preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience required.
  • One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience required
