Job Description
Dr. Galal's primary objective is to develop a comprehensive understanding of the role of radiotherapy in multidisciplinary oncology care for pediatric patients. Furthermore, he aims to attain proficiency in the treatment and management of prevalent pediatric cancer diagnoses.

Enhance proficiency in contouring, planning, delivery, and aftercare for radiotherapy in commonly occurring pediatric tumors. Observe the radiotherapy workflow at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and identify avenues for improving the treatment experience for patients and their families in his home country. Recognize the significance of a multidisciplinary treatment approach in achieving optimal management outcomes for pediatric tumors, with a focus on evidence-based practice. Establish a platform for ongoing support and guidance to ensure the maintenance of high standards of practice and care for pediatric oncology patients. Identify key areas of interest and develop a relevant research project in those areas, with the intent to publish and disseminate any new knowledge generated from this exploration.

Compensation

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $70,137 - $101,628 per year for the role of Clinical Fellow.
