POSITION TITLE:

Vice President, Engineered Performance Products (EPP)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Are you ready to lead innovation and drive growth in Engineered Performance Products (EPP) at Milliken? As the VP of EPP, you'll take the helm of our dynamic operations, spearhead business expansion, and ensure the successful execution of our strategic objectives. In this role you will lead a diverse portfolio of products and business segments that include industrial textile solutions, building and infrastructure, advanced reinforcement, and commercial furnishings. This pivotal role will see you optimizing efficiency, nurturing innovation, and fostering crucial stakeholder relationships, all while shaping the success of EPP and contributing significantly to our divisional strategy. Join us at the forefront of innovation and leadership. We are seeking a demonstrated sales leader with experience driving growth in existing markets while successfully gaining new business. This role reports directly to the Division President of Textiles and offers exciting opportunities for growth and impact.

LOCATION: Roger Milliken Center (RMC) in Spartanburg, SC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership:

    • Grow in existing markets and penetrate market adjacencies.
    • Assume full financial ownership of a significant global business, overseeing revenue models, pricing strategies, and product development initiatives. This includes managing the P&L statement to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
    • Lead the identification, evaluation, and negotiation of global sales and marketing opportunities across Commercial/Pricing, Sales Channel Strategy, and New Product Development.
    • Cultivate strategic partnerships, including financial arrangements, customer centricity, and intellectual property agreements.
    • Prioritize investments and project management efforts to drive innovation and navigate potential mergers and acquisitions.

Sales Leadership:

    • Lead as a growth catalyst, actively driving sales excellence and expanding market presence worldwide.
    • Direct sales and marketing activities, crafting strategies, nurturing customer relationships, and conducting in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
    • Maintain a strong market presence through regular visits and investigations, ensuring alignment with evolving market dynamics.
    • Drive business growth by leveraging CRM methodology for strategic alignment and gaining deeper insights into customer preferences.
    • Utilize organizational design methodology to build and grow a world class sales team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with Division Leadership and cross-functional support teams to align business operations, drive synergies, and foster an environment for innovation and growth.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales and marketing initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Willingness to travel >40% of the time, with both domestic and international travel.
  • 6+ years of experience managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of effectively managing and motivating sales team utilizing a sales process coupled with a strong emphasis on strategic marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Proven leader with the ability to drive product innovation and commercial success with through a variety of product segments.

QUALIFICATIONS PERFERRED:

  • Master's degree in business management, Finance, Marketing, or Engineering.
  • Experience in M&A or Integration.
  • Global work experience.
  • Manufacturing experience.
