Under the supervision and direction of the Tuberculosis (TB) Program Mangers and TB Physician the TB Public Health Nurse (PHN) II works within the interdisciplinary FCHD TB Program to control and prevent TB in Fairfax County. Assessing, evaluating, and testing a diverse population of clients confirmed or suspected of having TB disease or latent TB infection. Providing case management, TB health services, coordination of multidisciplinary services, and advocacy for clients in their homes, work, or other community settings. Plans and assists with contact investigations when appropriate and as needed. Collaborates and assists with implementation of TB outreach and education activities for health care providers and at-risk communities in Fairfax County. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from a college or university accredited by the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education with a bachelor's degree in Nursing; plus one year post-licensure nursing experience.
