Medica's Senior Director of Talent Development is a key leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive talent development programs within the organization. Our Senior Director will be instrumental in identifying and developing future leaders, driving organizational growth and success through effective leadership training, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic leadership development plan aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  • Design and deliver leadership development programs, workshops, and initiatives to enhance leadership skills and capabilities at all levels
  • Develop and implement comprehensive employee engagement strategies aligned with the organization's goals and values
  • Collaborate with senior executives and HR to assess leadership needs, gaps, and opportunities for development
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development programs through metrics and feedback mechanisms
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in leadership development to continuously enhance programs
  • Build strong relationships with external training providers, consultants and industry experts to leverage resources and expertise for leadership development

This transformational leader will play a crucial role in assessing Medica's current talent development programs and organizational needs in order to build and execute scalable strategies, drive organizational growth, develop future leaders and foster a culture of excellence through effective leadership development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience related to leadership development, talent management or organizational development roles
  • 5+ years of management responsibility
  • Strong understanding of leadership principles, competencies, and best practices
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering leadership development programs
  • Certification in leadership coaching or training programs is a plus

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills to assess leadership development needs and impact

  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to make sound decisions and drive successful outcomes for the organization

This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work from the designated office - Minnetonka, MN - , on average, 2+ times per week.

The full salary range for this position is $143,500 - $246,000. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for incentive plan compensation in addition to base salary.
