The Role

As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are hiring a Contract Validation Analyst. The Contract Validation Analyst position within the Customer Operations Contracting organization is responsible for auditing the contract offers prior to implementation. Closely reviewing and confirming contract pricing, documentation and terms and conditions is a critical function in the overall contract lifecycle management. Additionally, the position will review and report out metrics concerning contract submissions and system input errors made by the Contract Analysts to assist with process improvement and workload distribution.

The Responsibilities
  • Audit and review all submissions of new contracts and contract amendments for accuracy and compliance, in accordance with company and legal standards.

  • Verify contract terms and conditions are aligned with final proposals and appropriate management approvals have been secured.

  • Confirm all required fields in the contracting system(s) are completed and accurate.

  • Identify and report process redundancies to increase efficiency.

  • Prepare monthly statistical reports concerning all audit activities.

  • Provide continuous feedback to Customer Operations management on areas for improvement.

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual

Required:

  • BS/BA Degree field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 3 years experience in contracting or 5 years experience in contracting, auditing, finance or other related field.

  • Ability to review and understand legal terms and conditions.

  • Ability to learn and demonstrate working knowledge of contracting and contracting systems and how serve as subject matter expert on the contract implementation process.

  • Maintain strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize urgent tasks.

  • Individual must be able to work both independently and in a team setting.

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written are required. Individuals must demonstrate the ability to communicate via telephone, e-mail, and phone to internal customers daily.

The Key Working Relationships

  • Sales Data Analysts: Work closely with Data Analysts to ensure contract data is accurate and maintained according to company and Federal regulations.

  • Pricing Specialists: Works with Pricing Specialists to validate mass updates to customer groups and country-specific price lists.

  • Contract Managers: Partner with Contract Managers on all new contract and amendment implementations to verify protocols are being adhered to and data is accurate per the terms of each contract.

  • QuidelOrtho Management: Interacts with Sales Leadership, Contracting Leadership and Finance stakeholders to address escalations and process roadblocks, and interacts with other aspects of the organization as required (e.g. HR, IT, Customer Service, etc.)

The Work Environment

Typical hybrid office environment. Must have the discipline, organization skills and self-motivation to work autonomously in a home office.ice environment, as permitted.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. Occasionally required to reach, climb, or balance. Must be physically able to travel up to 10% of the time. On a typical workday, 80% of the time will be on computer, doing paperwork, or on phone. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Salary Transparency


The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on that facts and circumstances of each case. The salary for this position is $58,000-$99,000. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time) and paid Holidays. All benefits are non-contractual, and QuidelOrtho may amend, terminate, or enhance the benefits provided, as it deems appropriate.
