Manufacturing Operator

Our widely published company is headquartered in a fast-paced design office and manufacturing facility in LA. We design, develop, and manufacture a variety of facade systems, interior wall and ceiling systems, custom art installations on a full range of state-of-the-art equipment, in our100,000sf facility. Our growing team is seeking an organized, and proactive candidate to fill the role of Manufacturing Operator I. Projects are constantly changing; quantities range from one off prototypes to short run production. You will be joining a fun, energetic and motivated team.

The ideal candidate will possess all of the following:

• Must have experience, minimum 1 year in a production environment running lathes and mills.
• Set Up and Run CNC lathes and mills.
• Must have the ability to set up and touch off tools, machine jaws for both lathes and mills.
• Must be able to read and understand G-code and make edits to hit specs.
• Experience with HAAS CNC a Must
• Knowledge of manual machines a plus
• Full knowledge of measuring tools required.
• Perform layout/job set up to assure effective utilization of equipment.
• Assist with fabrication of signs and processes.
• Monitor assigned apparatus during run to ensure machine is maintaining the proper registration, cut, and scoring specifications.
• Ensure the completion of assignments by meeting quality/quantity specifications and requirements.
• Troubleshoot machine issues, if possible, resolve it and notify Supervisor or Plant Management.
• Maintain apparatus in compliance with maintenance and lubrication.
• Unload the materials and properly stack them on pallets.
• Eradicate recycled paper and discharge scrap trailers.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and is free of safety hazards.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 pounds.
• Frequently lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds using mechanical equipment.
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
• Regularly stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
• Climb ladders of varying heights

• Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
• Periodically needs to wear Company provided respirator.
