JOB SUMMARY: The Administrative Medical Assistant provides support to the program to include collecting data for program outcome measures; developing reports; triaging incoming calls, providing support to consumers as indicated, documenting consumer support in the Credible (the electronic medical record), and distributing mail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect and/or assemble:
    1. Project data for reporting outcome measures
    2. Documents for staff credentialing
    3. Policy and Procedure binders
  • Prepare required reports for review by ACT Director.
  • Answer and triage calls to ACT Teams
  • Copy, e-scan, and fax documents.
  • Support consumers as indicated and document all billable services in Credible the same day of services.
  • Distribute mail, manage supplies, e-scan consumer check requests to appropriate staff.
  • Attend meetings and trainings as necessary or required.
  • Assist and support other programs as needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma.

  • Certification as an Administrative Medical Assistant preferred.

  • 2 years of administrative experience.

SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to type 60 words per minute. Communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

  • Skill in the use of computers, preferably a PC, Windows-based operating environment, and MS Office products.
