We are seeking a Xnet and Content Cloud (Systemware) Engineer. This Xnet Engineer will act as a technical, hands-on lead working alongside a team of engineers who sustain and innovate Content Management systems. This position is responsible for system administration, solution design, installation, configuration, metadata management, business resiliency, user access controls, vulnerability management and general support of the enterprise content management ecosystem of software applications. Additionally, theXnet Engineerwill help lead the efforts of migrating from Xnet to Content Cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Install application systems including modifications that involve vendor enhancements and new releases as needed for upgrades and modifications.
  • Determine and make recommendations for systems specifications, hardware, data mapping, etc.
  • Serve as liaison between departments and assist in delivering systems integrations.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update documentation to reflect ongoing changes in our systems.
  • Assist the development of the software support analysis team members.
  • Designing and implementing highly resilient systems with effective disaster recovery strategies.
  • Conducting mock incidents and test recoveries in our disaster recovery environments.
  • Proactively working to design resilient systems and implement monitoring to prevent production incidents.
  • Respond and resolve production incidents should they occur.
  • Support other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Requires 4+ years of experience in Systemware application systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of the following:
      • Xnet
      • Content Cloud
      • Migration from Xnet to Content Cloud
      • IBM Mainframe
  • Must have good analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi task, work well under pressure and changing environments
  • Must have strong organizational, project management and client interfacing skills.
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems or other related field.

Preferred:

  • File Transfer Systems
  • Report archive and Distribution Software Products (Systemware)
  • Batch Job Scheduling Software Products and related applications
  • Change Management process
  • Server and applications vulnerability management.
  • Development.

Location:

This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.

The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus will be the company's primary technology and operations center.
