  • Salary Range: $57,941 - $74,498
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The incumbent will provide a high level of administrative support to a Director and Assistant Director of Residential and/or Commercial Services and will be the first point of contact in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Using independent judgment and initiative, the incumbent's duties include: responding to a high volume of telephone, e-mail and in-person inquiries relating to a variety of landlord/tenant and housing issues, relying on information based on policies, procedures and precedent;
  • Handling cash receipts for parking; coordinating work orders and maintenance requests;
  • Monitoring daily schedules and activities of building staff;
  • Coordinating projects and apartment preparation to meet housing deadlines;
  • Constructing and maintaining database files and preparing reports as requested; and ordering and maintaining an inventory of office supplies.
  • Acts as the Director and Assistant Director's representative when working with faculty, staff, students, and contractors.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma and/or its equivalent required.
  • Three years' related experience required.
  • Must be able to take direction and work independently, prioritizing and handling a variety of projects simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency with Windows, including Excel and familiarity with database/spreadsheet programs, essential.
  • Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented with exceptional organizational, communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
