Job Description

Intralox L.L.C. has a position available as a Web Content Administrator supporting the Intralox Equipment team. Based at our facility in New Orleans Louisiana or Hanover Maryland, the primary role of this position is to manage content of our internal Wikipedia site. Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of guiding principles for review and publication workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile entries and information for the Equipment Wikipedia (Wiki) site.
  1. Works closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and develop content and guide it through the review and publication workflow.
  2. Collaborates with SMEs to determine where to add updated or new content into the wiki, always representing the interests of the wiki team leads and considering the impact to the wiki. If changes are significant, Wiki Administrator presents the proposed changes to the Wiki Governance Team for approval.
  3. Responsible for reviewing and editing all content submitted by SMEs.
  • Owns style, layout, and design of the wiki content.

  1. Primary point of contact for troubleshooting any issues in the wiki.
  2. Manages use of the existing templates.
  3. Owns admin-level pages in the wiki (e.g., main home page, Intralox Acronyms & Initialisms (sharepoint.com) page).
  4. Manages Users and Permissions list for the wiki.

  • Owns the Equipment Wiki improvement portal.

  1. This is the primary avenue for new wiki project submission. All requests are sent to the attention of the Wiki Administrator, who is responsible for ensuring the timely completion of each project.
  2. Responsible for ensuring content is reviewed on a regular basis. An automated workflow was set up in Smartsheet for this purpose, but still requires oversight by the Wiki Administrator.
  3. Conduct regular audits of the wiki. These audits are aimed at catching any updates that may have been made outside the formal request process.

  • Other responsibilities
  1. Maintains an inventory of wiki pages outside SharePoint (currently in Excel) to easily track page owners, page status, and additional metadata like content type, reusability, and engineering team.
  2. Responsible for scheduling and running the monthly Wiki Governance Team meeting.
  3. Responsible for educating Intralox team members about the wiki and creating training materials as needed.


Requirements:

*1-3 years' work experience (internships included) in webpage administration, including content design and management, collaboration with content developers, and training.

*High school diploma

*Extremely organized, detail oriented and can handle multiple tasks.

*Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

*Proficiency with Microsoft office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

*Must have a positive attitude and be highly motivated, self-confident, and self-managed.

*Team player with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals and groups at all organizational levels.


Preferred:

*Associate degree in Business or other related fields.

*Experience with using Smartsheet.
