We are seeking an Associate to join our Strategy and Operations team in New York City. The Associate will play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives, operational enhancements, and business development efforts across various divisions within the company. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the continued success and growth of Related Companies.

Core responsibilities include, however not limited to:

  • Assisting with the implementation of existing and strategic initiatives for Commercial Portfolio, ensuring establishment of key processes and playbooks.
  • Leveraging Commercial Portfolio's platform SMEs and resources and advocate, support and increase adoption of Portfolio-wide initiatives, process efficiencies and ongoing monitoring.
  • Continuously assessing the asset and its resources, identifying priorities and objectives, and recommending valuable strategies to improve operational performance and service
  • Contributing to the preparation of financial reports
  • Assisting with development of SOPs and best practices ensuring all building functions clearly understand duties and responsibilities
  • Assisting with portfolio based operational procurement and contracting, including bid processes, negotiation and service delivery
  • Working closely with Portfolio leadership to implement, track and report performance goals for portfolio including KPI outcomes for Financial Management
  • Driving and effectively communicating implementation of process plans and tools for participants in strategic initiatives and other key stakeholders ensuring efficient engagement for adoption of change initiatives
  • Building and maintain strong relationships across the organization, ensuring honest, timely and transparent communication
  • Ensuring deliverables of the highest standard while managing all legal and safety considerations

Compensation:

$105,000 - $120,000 + Discretionary Bonus

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years proven progressive experience in operational process management.
  • Exposure to operations, program development, management and driving standards across enterprise.
  • Proven ability to manage, monitor and action on performance.
  • Proven success in conflict resolution.
  • Executive presence, excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize and manage process.
  • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in team environment.
  • Comfort in dealing with hypotheticals and/or large data sets and driving to succinct, executive-level communications.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels in a confident, data-driven manner.
  • Experience in creating business or strategic plans and a successful track record of implementation.
  • Strong project management skills, results-driven, adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Superior interpersonal skills:
    • Ease in working with people up and down the organization hierarchy
