We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Technical Product Specialist and App Delivery to join our team. This role will be based out of our Pittsburgh, PA offices, and it's a hybrid work arrangement.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Delivery of hydration in lakes
  • Adoption of Client Masters, Security masters, and Reference Masters
  • Oversee and drive on-time completion of analysis and work plans for Enterprise Data Adoption
  • Management, remediation, solutioning and implementation of data solutions
  • Deliver Master and Reference Data to Execute Business Strategies
  • Advance a Robust Data Lake to Streamline Outcomes
  • Manage tech vendor applications and websites
  • Assessment of vendor application security and ensure vendor accountability
  • Collaborate with Engineering Leads to identify opportunities for efficiencies and process improvements
  • Manage and track adherence to Engineering Resiliency KPIs with regular reporting

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

Expertise

  • Experience with management, remediation, solutioning and implementation of solutions to hydrate data lakes
  • Data Ingestion Technologies
  • Data Security and Governance
  • Maintaining Data Quality
  • Agile methodology preferred
  • Data analytics and reporting capabilities in order to present updates and progress to senior management
  • Familiarity across DevOps, data management, security, software development, and system architecture

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is preferred.
  • 10-12 years of experience in a systems SCM environment, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Acts as SCM technical expert, responsible for defining the overall technical direction of the SCM department. Defines SCM plans and scripts/programs for the most complex configurations. Standardizes the use of tools, technology and/or business expertise in relationship to SCM approaches. Assists in defining standards, processes, and procedures for the use of technology within the department. Defines and approves the process for metrics collection and analysis across all applications. Analyses data and produces progress reports for strategic projects. Makes recommendations to improve efficiencies and outcomes.

Interacts directly with clients and senior management regarding project activities, production stability, SLAs, and current status of upgrades on the application (vendor/in-house). Responsible for defining the installation and upgrade strategy for vendor products and identifying obstacles in making vendor software products fully operational within BNY Mellon environment. Reviews customizations made to core product to ensure impact on future portability. Contributes to the achievement of Software Configuration/Release Management objectives.
