Primary Function

This position is a unique opportunity to serve as a software solution architect and SME focusing on SAP Analytics while being a highly visible face to our business stakeholders and technology team. You will have access to and influence stakeholders to help them understand existing opportunities and challenges and will create solutions to solve their business needs. You can expect to be fully engaged beyond technology and will be responsible for understanding critical business processes, managing project deliverables, and collaborating with a great team.

This role is eligible for a remote work schedule of up to two days remote work per week. New employees are eligible to apply after successfully completing their initial 90 daysof employment and training.

Responsibilities

  • Interface SAP BW with SAP and third-party analytics tools to improve usability and process efficiency
  • Advise on development and testing proposals amongst team members across the full analytics stack
  • Collaborate with other functional architects and business analysts to ensure end-to-end analytic needs are met
  • Understand non-SAP business systems and support business analysts as needed
  • Support a data driven decision culture
  • Mentor team members and functional analysts on best practices
  • Monitor Analytics trends and best practices and identify optimization opportunities

Role Specific Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive SAP BW on HANA or BW4/HANA development experience in a globalenvironment
  • 5+ years' experience developing Business Objects (Web Intelligence and Analysis for Office) solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information systems, Mathematics, or related field
  • Capability to lead and execute complex assignments and projects independently within prescribed timeframe and funding parameters
  • Expertise in leading requirements gathering workshops, SAP BW Data Model Development, ABAP Development, SAP BW Security Model, Cutover Activities, Data Migration, Testing, User Training, and hyper-care support experience
  • Knowledge in SD-FI, and other ERP integrations, SD-MMintegrationsand TM
  • Ability to troubleshoot systems issues, complete complex reconciliations, and coordinate with process experts to resolve integratedissues
  • Proven ability to mentor senior, intermediate, and junior developers, and analysts
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to convey complex information appropriately to both technical and non-technical team members across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications

  • Preferred:
    • SAP BW on HANA or BW4/HANA implementation or upgrade experience
    • Demonstrated ability to design interfaces between SAP BW and external/non-SAP systems (flat file based, XML based)
    • Master's degree in computer science, Information systems, Mathematics, or related field
    • Experience developing SAP S/4 Embedded Analytics solutions, or SAP Analytics Cloud solutions
    • SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) experience
    • Experience working with Vistex, SalesForce, or Celonis
    • Cloud data warehouse experience with Snowflake or Amazon Redshift
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
Years of Experience
Minimum of 7 years of related work experience or training
