In this role, you will:
- Provide speech pathology services to patients in the acute setting at both Westwood and Santa Monica campuses
- Perform clinical swallow evaluations and treatment for patients with dysphagia
- Perform MBSS, FEES and communication/cognition evaluation and treatment
- Cover weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be available to cover 2 holidays per year and 2 weekend dates per month'
*Position may convert to career.
Salary range: 66.31-81.03 hourly
Qualifications
- California State Speech Pathology license
- Able to efficiently learn new computer and clinic systems
- Possess a high level of clinical skill to work with complex medical and social situations
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent documentation abilities
- Experience with MBSS and communication/cognition evaluation and treatment required
- Experience with FEES required
- Experience with pediatrics is a plus
