Job Summary:

We're seeking a professional to join our team of talented and diligent Loan Accounting Specialists. Under the guidance and direction of the Loan Advance/Homebuilding Loan Operations Manager, this professional will perform various functions for loans within the bank's core system and will ensure the efficient operation of the area in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Performs all duties pertaining to advancing loans for Commercial, Mortgage, Construction, Homebuilders, Note Finance and Lines of Credit.
  • Fund new loans and process renewals for borrowing base loans and guidance line of credit for the Homebuilding Group.
  • Works to ensure clients receive the best customer experience.
  • Coordinates with borrowers, title companies, relationship managers, etc. to ensure all data gathering is compiled and completed in a timely manner.
  • Process request for payoff quotes.
  • Update and Maintain borrowing base customer reports.
  • Manage digital folders of each builder.
  • Review Loan Advance and Funding packages.
  • Order and review construction inspections.
  • Resolves any funding or advance exceptions on the recon report or with an inspection.
  • Create periodical reports (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
  • Tracks process changes and adoption of changes with team members.
  • Identifies and recommends departmental efficiency enhancements.
  • Represent the bank at various civic and community functions.
  • Stay current on regulatory requirements and compliance training applicable to position (Bank Secrecy Act, AML/Fraud, Customer Information Privacy, etc.)
  • Must be able to work independently, efficiently, and possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Other office duties as signed.
  • Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidential information are absolutely essential.

Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with bank transaction processing and loan operations preferred
  • Knowledge of loan documentation
  • Ability to follow directions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Cheerful outlook with a strong customer service focus
  • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
  • Must be flexible and able to change direction quickly.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and has the judgement to escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Strong attention to detail and common sense
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Pleasant telephone skills and courteous manner necessary
