Introduction: We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Engineer to join our dynamic Enterprise Platform team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional development, integration and automation skills combined with a background in IT Ops or Sysops

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable and robust automation solutions integrating various services such as AWS, SAAS platforms and custom solutions.

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Terraform, and Docker, ensuring seamless software deployment and configuration management.

  • Manage version control using Git and coordinate the development process to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

  • Build and maintain APIs (REST, SOAP) to facilitate efficient communication between different software components.

  • Program in multiple languages including Python, Go and others to meet the diverse needs of software development and integration.

  • Employ Agile methodologies to manage projects and enhance team productivity, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

  • Design and deploy event-driven automation architectures like AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS and API Gateway (or similar) to enhance operational responsiveness and scalability.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a role with a strong focus on automation and development.

  • Proficiency in cloud services (AWS, GCP), and infrastructure as code (Terraform).

  • Extensive experience with Docker, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools.

  • Strong programming skills in Python, Go and others,

  • Experience with version control systems (Git).

  • Experience with API development (REST, SOAP)

  • Familiarity with low-code platforms like Zapier or similar

  • Familiarity with Single Sign-On, SAML, and OpenID Connect (OIDC) technologies.

  • Extensive experience with SaaS platforms, enhancing integration capabilities.

  • Experienced in Agile methodologies, adapting quickly to changing requirements and focusing on iterative and incremental delivery.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with diverse teams and driving high-quality results.

Pay Range

Salary: $87,360 - $124,800

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees.
