PURPOSE:

* This role supports Andersen's Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) function and reports directly to a leader within RDI. The role will also have cross-functional connection through the talent and organizational development team within HR.

* To support Andersen's Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) team by identifying performance enhancement opportunities, developing success enablers, and implementing initiatives that result in improving business performance, increasing workforce capability, and/or increasing employee engagement.

* To design, develop, and implement learning solutions that enable teams to better meet customer expectations, enhance their workforce capability, increase their talent reserves to enable enterprise growth, and improve career development opportunities for individuals.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Consult with RDI leaders to identify employee competency and capability requirements that support and enable successful business performance.


* Support culture change initiatives with multi-faceted solutions that drive individual, team, and organizational behaviors.

* Leverage the instructional design process to understand the business needs, develop learning objectives, deliver needs assessment, design program and content development, work with Subject Matter Experts to implement programs, and evaluate effectiveness of final training deliverables.

* Develop training, learning activities, and supporting documents consistent with instructional design standards, current learning science and adult learning theory and knowledge of the targeted audience.

* Facilitate effective delivery of training, using multiple methods not limited to classroom and virtual deployment.

* Assist in the creation and execution of talent development programs to support workforce readiness and retention.

* Follow project management methodologies to ensure assigned project tasks meet cost, timelines, and quality requirements.

* Lead the development of organizational development best practices and engage with HR and business leaders to build competency.

* Identify and evaluate environmental and personal factors that underlie employee performance problem root causes.

* Assess training needs analysis and prescribe appropriate learning solutions employing a variety of delivery modalities.

* Develop and lead the implementation of planned change interventions that result in improved individual and group performance.

* Leverage competency models aligned to performance requirements of key roles and develop/deploy tools and processes for evaluating individual and group competency gaps.

* Continually enhance learning methods and materials based on business needs and feedback, learner modalities, emerging technology, and resources.

* Create facilitator guides, participant guides, train the trainer material, job aids, peer evaluations, and training effectiveness tools.

* Partner with facilitators to ensure the effective delivery of training, including coaching and train the trainer support.

* Participate in long-term Corporate Learning & Development planning, improvement processes, and projects.

* Lead the development of measurement strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions.

* Mentor, coach, and develop Corporate Learning and Development team members and others in the enterprise who may have responsibility for developing training.


DIRECTION OF OTHERS:

* May provide direction to others involved in collaborating on instructional design or those delivering training.

* May provide direction and/or project management leadership to external training vendors or curriculum developers.


QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience and demonstrated skills and abilities.

* Minimum 7 years' experience designing, developing, facilitating, and implementing technical and soft skills training programs.

* Certified and/or experienced in assessment and development instruments to improve individual, team, and organization effectiveness.

* Solid understanding of adult learning theory, process improvement consulting, employee development, and high performance team-building.

* Demonstrated competency in instructional design, needs assessment, data analysis, performance measurement and evaluation, process improvement, and individual and consulting skills.

* Experience with designing and implementing learning development solutions for highly technical teams, especially those doing research and development, is highly desired.

* Advanced skill using Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams)

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
