  • Expert knowledge of commonly used equipment, practices, procedures, and concepts in BWR and/or PWR refueling and reactor dis/reassembly activities.
  • Specific nuclear reactor plant maintenance training and leadership experience.
  • Ability to comprehend instructions, policies, procedures, and guidelines required to perform assigned tasks.
  • Effectively communicate with peers, management, suppliers, and customers.
  • Knowledge of company and industry safety and health policies and programs as required for specific roles.

As a Reactor Services Field Supervisor/ Technical Advisor in Lynchburg, VA (remote work will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the PWR Reactor Services Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

  • Under very broad supervision, this position is responsible for routine to complex installation, repair, preventative maintenance and testing of tools and equipment at customer sites.
  • Utilizes procedures, drawings, and experience to perform activities on specific tooling, equipment and components.
  • May direct technicians and provide input on their performance or directing as task or shift during an outage.
  • Responsible for performance of activities in a safe, efficient, and error free manner.
  • Will be required to work around radioactivity and corrosive chemicals; must wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $47.00- $61.06 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
