Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I Critical Environment Energy Marshall, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. ResponsibilitiesOversees and assures the overall compliance of Microsoft's Energy Isolation Program and establish acceptance criteria for authorizing campus Energy Isolation Plan.Implements learnings, provides consistency, and drives rigor into Microsoft's Energy Isolation program and ensures program meets or exceeds company safety policy requirements.Utilise local code and standards as the foundation for Microsoft's Energy Isolation program that is implemented throughout the campus.Establish with the Engineering team a centralized Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) procedure with all campus entities and determine if a group or individual LOTO procedure will be required.Commencement of energy isolation activities with updates on a continuous basis.Liaise with Microsoft construction team where Energy Isolation activities may potentially impact data center core operations.Act in coordination with the Engineering team as a subject matter expert in all energy isolation incident investigations in area of responsibilityParticipate in high-risk activity (HRA) planning meetings associated with energy isolation.Ensures high-risk SOWs, SOPs and MOPs are reviewed, and all sources of energy are identified.Ensure a process is established that verifies qualifications, training, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for personnel performing the work.Generate monthly reports highlighting activities and general status of energy isolation programEmbody the Microsoft One culture and values.
