The Permissions Assistant will support the permissions team in documenting incoming requests, researching rights, assisting in the negotiating and drafting of permissions licenses, and entering of deal data in rights database.

What you'll do:

  • Manage department inbox, read and respond to general inquiries, archive agreements, and any
    other administrative tasks needed
  • Research rights availability and title history for permissions requests
  • Assist in the evaluation of permissions requests and acceptability of proposed use
  • Work with editorial teams and agency contacts to secure permissions approvals as needed
  • Assist in the drafting and negotiating of permissions agreements
  • Enter deal information in rights database and generate invoices

Ideal Experience:

  • 1+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

This role will have an annual salary of $47,500.
