The Position:

Reporting & Accounting Process Specialist I-As a Reporting & Accounting Process Specialist I you will be working in different areas of Accounting. In Accounts Payable you will be making sure that due payments will be processed and paid in time, following the company's standard processes. In General Ledger accounting you will be responsible for handling the upload of Journal Entries. Additionally, part of your work may be related to FI-CO related tasks

What you will do:

  • Accounts Payable Processing - Process invoices sent by vendors in the company information system, according to internal guidelines.
  • Document Preparation - Prepare routine letters, memoranda, reports, and similar documents following detailed instruction. This is likely to involve using the full range of functions within standard office software.
  • Financial Management and Control - Enter data into standard company systems, and review and verify it for accuracy.
  • Fraud/Financial Crime Investigation - Carry out a range of information management activities to support theadministration of fraud or financial crime investigations, including data input, retention of physical or electronic evidence, and production of analysis and reports.
  • Operational Compliance - Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and ofregulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to own work, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards.
  • Cost Accounting -Maintaining master data such as cost centers and support the product costing activities.

What you will bring:

  • Level of education & knowledge:
    • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level

  • Experience in general:
    • 5+ years of Accounts Payable or Accounting equivalent

  • Commercial skills:
    • Verbal Communication - Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills with guidance (but not constant supervision) to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies.
    • Compliance Management - Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to achieve full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations.
    • Data Control - Works under guidance (but not constant supervision) to acquire, organize, protect and process data to fulfill business objectives.
    • Numerical Skills - Uses an understanding of numerical concepts to perform mathematical operations such as report analysis with guidance (but not constant supervision).
    • Planning and Organizing - Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
    • Review and Reporting - Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to review and create relevant, lucid, and effective reports.

  • Technical skills:
    • SAP FI/CO, Microsoft Office (esp. Excel), OCR system (Optical Character Recognition system)

  • Competencies, Behavioral skills:
