Wausau Window and Wall Systems

Reporting directly to the Architectural Framing Systems (AFS) Director of Finance, The Manager of FPA will be a key contributor in shaping the financial future of the AFS Finance Group. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team and business area leaders to execute the AFS reporting, forecasting, and planning process. They will support standardization, structure, and discipline to the reporting, forecasting and budget process across the brands and operating units. The candidate will drive business performance by leveraging large-scope data to create impactful analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

Business Unit Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecasts through partnership with various functional leaders.

  • Ensure business unit budget and forecasts are deliverable, and once committed ensure they are delivered in support of the enterprise commitments.

  • Partner with the business to support capital budgets aligned with strategic objectives, analyzing potential impacts, and coordinating Capital Asset Requests (CARs). Ensure that ongoing business activities are delivering the requisite revenue, margin, and cash, while maintaining a bottom-line focus.

Business Unit Financial Reporting

  • Support standardization of financial reporting, processes, across the 5 brands and 7 manufacturing locations that make up AFS.

  • Provide consolidated reports for the business unit as appropriate.

  • Provide analysis and reporting to enable the month-end close process

  • Provide financial analysis of specific product brands (at gross margin level),

  • Support quarterly analysis of actual results.

Business Partner

  • Deliver insightful analysis to the business unit president and leadership team in support of business objectives and decision making.

  • Develop cross-functional partnerships and effectively communicate financial information to partner teams to influence decision making and achieve the organization's financial goals.

  • Confidently communicate information, both written and verbal, to business partners in a clear, concise manner.

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the Finance function and across the organization.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in finance and accounting roles with 2 years in forecasting and planning

  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry

  • Advanced knowledge of financial and data tools, excel, data visualization tools (Power BI,Tableau).

  • Experience with financial consolidation tools such as BPC or Hyperion
