Military Airlift Management Specialist

Key Role:

Synchronize inter and intra-theater requirements and intermodal movements and optimize modal distribution. Coordinate strategic operational requirements, execute common-user modes, and provide in-transit visibility (ITV) and analysis of theater distribution requirements and capabilities to synchronize the entire spectrum of global mobility capabilities. Optimize the flow of combat capability into and out of, as well as within the INDOPACOM AOR. Closely coordinate operations with the various deployment teams. Coordinate with Joint Logistics Enterprise (JLEnt) partners and multinational stakeholders to maintain situational awareness of worldwide deployment and distribution matters affecting operations within the region. Represent movement equities for non-combatant evacuation. Deconflict competing movement requirements. Synchronize and validate joint movement requirements. Manage, monitor, and provide multimodal transportation solutions for intra and inter-theater force flow, distinguished visitors, detainee, US prisoner, foreign national, HAZMAT, aeromedical evacuation, leave and pass program, and special operations support missions. Interface between stakeholders and Multinational partners on projected movements.This role may require non-standard work hours and travel to support crisis and surge operations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a government logistics sustainment operations

  • 3+ years of experience with Joint Logistics operations planning

  • Experience with supporting the INDOPACOM AOR

  • Knowledge of Integrated Data Environment (IDE), Global Transportation Network (GTN), Global Decision Support System (GDSS) or Single Mobility System (SMS)

  • Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods on a variety of logistics synchronization plans, policies, and guidance

  • Ability to meet and contact high-level officials, speak publicly, and communicate professionally

  • Ability to establish internal and external procedures in written form on programs, concepts of operation (CONOPs), and projects

  • Secret clearance

  • Associate's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lines of Effort that support the Joint Concept for Contested Logistics

  • Experience with the entire spectrum of global resources and capabilities and providing analysis of theater air, sea, and surface transportation resources by monitoring various in-transit visibility (ITV) systems

  • Knowledge of Global Command and Control Systems (GCCS) automated tools, such as JOPES, JOPES Editing Tool, and Rapid Query Tool, and NEWSGROUPS to assist decision-making process in planning force deployments

  • Knowledge of the Air Mobility Command and Pacific Air Forces processes for requesting military airlift support

  • Knowledge of DoDI 4500.53, and USTRANSCOM and USINDOPACOM policy documents governing activities of the DoD Commercial Aircraft Review Board (CARB) and USINDOPACOM waiver processing

  • Knowledge of Joint Campaign, Contingency, Crisis Action Planning procedures, and Joint Doctrine and Joint Publication (JP) 4-0, JP 4-01, and JP 4-04

  • Ability to work with requesting units, organizations, and headquarters staff to validate movement requirements, obtain Judge Advocate Review, deconflict schedules, and address diplomatic, health, safety, and security requirements in preparing documentation for military airlift support

  • Ability to conduct strategic assessments and brief senior military leaders

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
