This position primarily involves a hybrid work schedule - working remotely: Monday & Friday / on site: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

At Institutional Life marketing is building awareness and understanding of our products solutions (BOLI, COLI and ICOLI). We're looking for versatile marketing professional who has experience in developing marketing plans, executing sales enablement materials and marketing campaigns while working with cross functional teams across departments. The marketing lead should be equally proficient with day-to-day marketing activities and long-term strategizing and strive under tight deadlines to meet the company's changing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of annual marketing plan (positioning, identify target audiences) with specific objectives across different channels and products segments leveraging leadership and sales guidance.
    • Analyze and report out on competitor trends to build brand and product visibility, content and channel trends, and any other marketing best practices in the institutional life landscape or across the company to build successful marketing strategies

  • Develop customized and impactful content for dual audiences (third-party brokers, and end clients) following the business' strategic initiatives.
    • Develop creative briefs and set creative direction to meet objectives for all sales enablement, and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
    • Execute and manage collateral renewal efforts on existing assets (brochures, presentations, investment platform marketing pieces, flyers, promotional and video scripts, videos)
    • Work with cross-functional teams on brainstorming exercises around new content development with a variety of subject-matters experts and content design teams on messaging and illustrations that suit our target audiences.
    • Perform regular content audits to ensure content plus data are current and relevant.
    • Manage legal and compliance approval processes to ensure marketing materials align with compliance and legal standards.

  • Conceptualize and execute on multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels
    • Drive and execute email marketing campaigns to promote and convey new products, features, and/or investment funds.
    • Partner with email, performance marketing, and web teams to design, test, and evolve lead-nurturing tactics
    • Manage broker secure website access processes and all web content for IL (creative, digital resources, publication timing) and central repository on department shared drive

  • Collaborate with marketing-related vendors on digital and fulfillment services; manage relationships: execution of service agreements, statement of works, onboarding, and off-boarding
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives (email campaigns / website etc.) with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, best practices, strategies, and budgets
  • Continuous collaboration with corporate marketing and corporate communication to ensure business marketing portfolios align with the overall Company brand voice and tone.

  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field
  • 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
  • Proven success in content writing

Salary range:$72,500-$107,500
