The MGH CCIB DNA Core, founded in 1995, is a research core laboratory within the Center for Computational and Integrative Biology of Massachusetts General Hospital. Utilizing advanced instrumentation and expertise, this state-of-the-art facility provides a diverse portfolio of cutting-edge services in the fields of molecular biology, genomics, and laboratory automation. Services include Next-Generation Sequencing applications, conventional Sanger Sequencing, Mouse Genotyping, and Laboratory Automation of various processes for research purposes.
The Research Technologist will assist with various NGS services (Complete Plasmid Sequencing, Complete Amplicon Sequencing, CRISPR Amplicon Sequencing, Viral Genome Sequencing and 16S Sequencing) utilizing the Illumina MiSeq platform. Will also assist in the continued development and daily operation of our Oxford Nanopore-based Rapid Plasmid Sequencing service. Will work very independently in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment, and interact with researchers using our services.
