Job Title: Picker / Inventory Specialist

Job Summary: The Picker / Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in our manufacturing environment by ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient movement of materials. This hybrid position involves both manual picking and occasional forklift operation. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, detail-oriented, and committed to teamwork.

1st Shift: 5am – 3pm, Monday thru Thursday

Responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfillment:
    • Receive orders from customers or internal teams.
    • Locate products within the warehouse.
    • Pull products from shelves, ensuring they are undamaged.
    • Use racking systems and forklifts to retrieve items.
    • Pack item kits according to specifications.
    • Ensure order accuracy.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Track and maintain inventory for all items in storage.
    • Transport pallets to loading docks and assist with unloading.
    • Document all actions using inventory management ERP system (M2M - Made to Manage).
    • Restock products as needed.
  • Physical Demands:
    • Manually move parts (lifting, bending, pulling).
    • Use sit down forklift approximately 40% of the time.
    • Adapt to varying workload (some days no forklift, others handling multiple pallets).
  • Teamwork and Commitment:
    • Collaborate with operators and support their needs.
    • Demonstrate commitment to team success, including willingness to work overtime when required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical dexterity and ability to follow instructions.
  • Forklift certification.
