Madison Medical Affiliates in Mequon is seeking full time experienced candidate to fill our Customer Service Representative vacancy. The ideal candidate will have the following:

Associate or Bachelor's degree.

Related experience in the medical field with familiarity in medical terminology, disease entities, drugs and insurance concepts. Pulmonary or Allergy experience strongly desired, but not required.

Demonstrated competency using clinic computer operating systems.

Customer service experience in an environment with significant and frequent opportunities to effectively resolve problems and conflict situations.
Duties include:

Manages the patient experience to ensure a high level of safety and service.

Maintains professional demeanor and a positive rapport with patients, coworkers, and physicians. Effectively resolves complaints in a manner that meets patients’ expectations.

Accurately schedules appointments and completes charge entry in a timely manner to facilitate the billing process.

Accurately completes registrations to ensure all patient and payer information is correct and current.

Ensures compliance and completion of appropriate documentation required by regulatory agencies and organizational quality initiatives.

May perform additional administrative support responsibilities depending on specific clinic needs.
